Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate meetings, fundraisers, and social gatherings - Collaborate with clients to understand their event vision and goals - Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and decor - Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors - Coordinate event timelines and ensure all details are executed flawlessly - Provide exceptional guest services and ensure a positive experience for all attendees - Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring that all elements are in place and meet client expectations - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event planning Requirements:
- Previous experience in event planning or related field (hospitality, catering, banquet, etc.
) - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed Starting pay $18/hour
